- Microsoft Authenticator
Make signing in to your Microsoft account easy, convenient, and secure
with Microsoft Authenticator. All you have to do is enter your username,
then approve the notification that gets sent to your phone. Your
fingerprint, face, or PIN provides a second layer of security in this
two-step process. This lets you access all your Microsoft products and
services, like Outlook, OneDrive, Office, and more!
Microsoft Authenticator can do more than just let you into your Microsoft account. It supports multi-factor authentication for work, school, or other non-Microsoft accounts. When you log in with your username and password, you’re asked for another way to prove that it’s really you. Either approve the notification that’s sent to Authenticator, or use the verification code that’s created by the app.
Many employers and schools use Authenticator to make sure that files, emails, and apps are only accessed by the right people. Registering your device with your organization can be done right in the app.
